We're a local team based right here in Chitwan, booking rooms, villas and safaris around Chitwan National Park. We work with hand-picked partner lodges in Sauraha, Patihani and Meghauli, we check every stay ourselves, and we look after you from your very first message until the moment you check out.
Every room page tells you which area it's in – Sauraha, Patihani or Meghauli – and your confirmation email gives you the full address, directions and the lodge's phone number, so you'll never be left guessing.
Rooms are priced per room, per night, for the number of guests shown, with breakfast and taxes included. Dorm beds and jungle tower nights are per person. Activities and packages are per person, and private transfers are per vehicle.
For most rooms, no. You can pay online by card straight away, ask for a payment link and pay a deposit later, or simply pay when you arrive – and we hold your room the moment you book. Activities, packages and transfers are a little different: those are paid by card when you book.
For most rooms, cancellation is free up to 7 days before arrival. Cancel 3–6 days before and there's a 50% charge, and we can't offer a refund within 48 hours of arrival or for no-shows. Each room page shows its exact policy, so do have a quick look before you book.
At most lodges, check-in is from 14:00 and check-out is by 11:00. If the room is free, we're very happy to arrange an early check-in or a late check-out – just ask.
October to March is cool and dry, with excellent wildlife and birdwatching. February to May is hot, but the tall grass has been cut and the animals gather at the water, so sightings are excellent. June to September is the monsoon: green, quiet and lush, though some areas of the park close. Our best time to visit guide goes through each season in more detail.
By private car (5–6 hours from Kathmandu), by tourist bus (6–7 hours) or by a 25-minute flight to Bharatpur. We can book any of these for you – see how to reach Chitwan for the details.
