The full-day safari goes where the half-day can't: the quieter western and central zones of the park, with long stops at lakes and grassland watch-points where tigers, gaur (Indian bison), sloth bears and wild elephants are most often seen.
You leave at dawn, eat a packed lunch in the forest and return around sunset.

Questions
Will we see a tiger?
Maybe – but nobody can promise it. Chitwan has around 130 tigers, and sightings happen on a small share of safaris. Rhinos, deer, crocodiles, monkeys and birds are seen on almost every trip.
Is it tiring?
It's a long day on bumpy tracks. It suits adults and older children who love wildlife.
