Booking Terms & Cancellation Policy

Payments, deposits, cancellations, changes and what happens if the park closes.

These terms apply to rooms, activities, packages and transfers booked on chitwanjungleresort.com.

Prices

Prices are in US dollars and include taxes and service charges unless stated. Room prices are per room per night for the guests shown; dorm beds and tower nights are per person. Activities and packages are per person; private transfers are per vehicle.

Payment

You can pay online by card, request a payment link and pay a deposit, or pay on arrival where offered. We may ask for a deposit to secure peak-season and luxury bookings.

Cancellations by you

Unless the room or package page says otherwise:

  • More than 7 days before arrival: full refund
  • 3–6 days before: 50% charge
  • Within 48 hours, or no-show: no refund

Activities can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time.

Changes

We'll always try to change dates or rooms at no cost if there is availability. Price differences apply.

Park closures and weather

If the national park or community forest closes an area for safety, we'll offer an alternative activity or a refund for that activity.

Your partner lodge

Rooms are provided by our partner lodges. Your confirmation shows the lodge's address and contact details. If a lodge can't honour a booking, we'll move you to an equal or better room at no extra cost, or refund you in full.
